Czech Republic Delegation Visits Brown University

On October 16th, Brown University received a visit from the Charles University delegation to extend and expand the multidisciplinary Memorandum of Understanding for yet another term 2025-2030. The delegation was headed by Eva Voldřichová-Beránková, Vice President of Charles University for International Relations and the representatives from the Faculty of Arts (Humanities, Social Sciences, and Psychology). Professor Masako Fidler was a faculty liaison between the universities.

On this occasion, Brown University was also visited by the Czech diplomatic delegation headed by the Minister of Science, Research and Innovation Marek Ženíšek. The delegation included the Czech Ambassador to the US, Miloslav Stašek, the General Consul of the Czech Republic, Arnošt Kareš, and the General Consul Deputy Michal Kaplan.

The Brown Office of Global Engagement generously sponsored a lunch in the honor of the Czech delegations.
